Session 1: The Basics

Session 2: The 3 Pillars & Chikitsa
Take 15 minutes to journal on the expression of the 3 Pillars of Health (ahara, nidra and brahmacharya) in your own life. How are you in alignment with your prakruti? How are you helping to balance any Vikrutis you may have and where are you out of alignment and needing to make adjustments?

 

Session 3: Dinacharya
Go to the rasa website (link below) where you can view more in-depth explanation on different dinacharya rituals. Select 3 that you can practice at home for 15 minutes daily.

Session 4: Agni & Ama
Consider Nidana Parivarjana and journal about the places where you are welcoming Ama into your field, Are you welcoming ama into the field of your body? The emotional and psychological fields? Are there ways that you could drop or surrender these causes? And are there ways you can also take care a little more deeply of your Ahara Chikita? Let these be some commitments, become aware of them, write them down, be with them.

 

Session 5: Ayurveda for Women
Take some time to curate a class for a woman in your life, being particularly aware of her stage of life, her vikruti and prakruti.

 

Session 6: Ayuryoga
After having completed the 6 videos of the Ayurveda for Yogis and Yoga Teachers program, reflect on what elements of the Ayurvedic perspective you want to intentionally integrate into your own practice and teaching. What will you pay attention to and consider, specifically? Write down and contemplate the key takeaways that you feel are the most important and aliged to the spirit of Ayurveda.
